Chris practices in the areas of construction law, surety law, and commercial litigation. Originally from Tampa, Chris obtained his bachelor’s degree in Politics from the University of Dallas. After completing his undergraduate studies, he attended Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida, graduating second in his class. During law school, Chris interned with the State Attorney’s Office and the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Court and served as a teaching assistant and research assistant. Chris was invited to speak at the First District Court of Appeal for his exceptional score on the February 2019 Florida Bar Exam. Prior to joining Gurley Fant, Chris worked at the Fifth District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach, serving as law clerk to the Honorable Meredith Sasso (now Justice Sasso of the Florida Supreme Court). Following his clerkship, Chris joined Gurley Fant in early 2021.
